RAIN is a regional non-profit Internet system serving California, the South Pacific and Central America. RAIN is currently working on the development of a Pacific Rim Education and Economic Exchange Network wit hgrants from the National Science Foundation. RAIN's community Internet Navigation Center in Santa Barbara, provides a home for the Women's Internet Council and other arts and humanities focused internet projects.
