Special Handling Instructions / Body Description

The materials used in the construction of any given part of this body reflect certain characteristics. The head is made of clay, suggesting that the psyche is easily altered and is moldable. It's also quite fragile, and can be easily changed by others and even by the surrounding environment. I expect to see some changes here. The body is of lava, as the body is very primary--in the sense that lava is molten earth--it's the very planet which sustains us in its most volatile form. Constantly anticipating solidification--about to be born. The arms are made of water, suggesting a natural, flowing, beautiful grace with which the world is manipulated. The legs are man made black rubber--springy and durable, able to carry the body to new places and new situations, but they're not exactly natural. They've been manufactured for these functions. No special instructions. This is life, after all.

Comments

What a great idea. Don't quite understand how my body will change, or what experiences it will have.

Don't yet see how it's going to interact with others, but anxious to find out.

The web page itself it attractively put together. And the Special Instructions category

I found very interesting--I sort of went off in there, but only because

I realized what had made me choose particular textures for each of the

body parts. It was a reflection of how I see myself ina--"psychic"?--sense.
