Special Handling Instructions / Body Description

    Allegra was created as a mirror or sounding board. She allows me to see the repurcussions of my decisions, showing me how each possibility could turn out. Because of her mirroring qualities, her left and right arms are exchanged. The rest of her body remains an the traditional alignment because she is also an entity in herself. As a computerized cyber body, Allegra remains in the virtutal world. She is working on a way to exist in the "real" world however. The fact that she is vitual does not mean that Allegra does not experience her body. Her head, arms and legs are black rubber, with clearly defined boundaries and mass. Her torso is "cloudy." This airy quality allows the winds of ideas, thoughts and feelings to pass through, circulate and exist in this part of her body. The boundaries of her torso are ill-defined. Rather than creating a completely separate whole, her torso allows connection and interaction with that which is not self. The connection of her torso with her clearly-defined arms, provides a sense of self which is essential to distinguish her body as a unique form within the space around her.
