Chapter 9 - Projecting Many Futures
9.10 CONCLUSION
9.10.1 Following a cue from John Cage, who at the end of his life said that it is time to reconsider the work of Bucky [8], this thesis is an attempt to do exactly that. Fuller has been my guide, the Phantom Captain throughout my research. Therefore it seems only proper to end with the words of Fuller, words that inspired me and hopefully will continue to do so for many generations to come.
9.10.2 The success of all humanity can be accomplished only by terrestrially comprehensive, technologically competent, design revolution. This revolution must develop artefacts whose energy-use efficiency not only occasions the artefacts' spontaneous adoption by humanity, but therewith also occasions the inadvertent, unregretted abandonment and permanent obsolescence of socially and economically undesirable viewpoints.
This design revolution must employ world-round, satellite interlinked, data-banks-and-computer-accomplished conversion of present-day, exclusively geocentric, Spaceship Earth wealth accounting by synchronising our planetary economic affairs with the cosmic, interstellar, intergalactic, complex family of physical, time-energy behaviours laws, demonstrated by astrophysics to be synergistically in economic governance not only throughout out Milky Way's 100 billion stars, but also throughout the two billion additional such galaxies now discovered and observed by astrophysics within our phototelescopic range.
