9.6.1 I will end by describing three projects that I have envisioned and that are a direct outcome of the work on this thesis, very much inspired and informed by Buckminster Fuller's persona. These three projects are inter-connected, but independent, developed in parallel and in sequence at the same time. The sequence is as follows:

9.6.2 A. Data Mining Bodies: People will be asked to create an Information Personae agent which is visualised as a wire-framed body. Traversing this project will familiarise the participants with the concept of data travelling from person to person through visual topologies that will be generated by the information exchange dynamic.

9.6.3 B. Community of People with No Time: The next natural step would be to get ported over to a collective intelligence space, which requires no presence and will cease being connected to the image of the body. Participants will have options of how information they summon is delivered and to what extent they are open to direct communication.

9.6.4 C. Networked Art Marketplace: Visualisation of the amount of time spent on certain data will make it really easy to port one's IP into a place where those who have their data most frequently accessed will prosper.

9.6.5 The main points of inspiration for these three pieces are based on examination of: Data Mining (chapter 5); Online Communities (chapter 6); and Network Topologies (chapter 7). Each of these topics are on a fast track in the computer industry. Yet, when examined a bit closer, one quickly discovers that they are thought of and being developed in a very de-humanising way. This project is concerned with not only exposing this, but proposes an alternative way at seeing how networks can help us extend our selves in a positive way as well. It is an effort to get away from the credit card/mall mentality and move towards using networks to share knowledge and expand consciousness. The Information Personae agent will be the driving agent in all three. [top]
